Things are starting to get heated up as Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 Round 2 recently concluded and while many new teams were able to put up a great performance, the main show was stolen by top teams with total domination in their respective groups. Teams like Carnival Gaming, WSB Gaming, and Team XSpark left everyone speechless with their performance.
Round 3 is set to commence on May 16 and will be featuring 256 Teams across 4 match days. Out of these 16 teams secured their spot from The Grind and will be competing to secure a spot in Round 4 like the others.
Here are the team that qualified directly -

The format remains the same, however, the stakes will be much higher this time. Only the top four teams from each group will qualify for the Round 4. From the remaining team that failed to qualify, the top 16 will get another chance to do so through Wildcard Entry.
More Teams Banned
Amidst all the qualifying teams, another ban wave has taken place, striking down nine more teams. These are ISO Esports, Unique Destiny Esports, ALWYZnFOREVER Esports, U4G Esports, Team 4Gods, Regression Esports, Born2Rush, Team Zero Point and Hyderabad Evils. A week back, eight teams were disqualified similarly after Round 1 concluded.
This time also, there were no specifics on why these teams were banned. The official post from Krafton revealed that these teams were involved in using unauthorized software themselves or teaming with other players using these cheats to gain an advantage. As a result, all these teams were banned from BGIS 2024.
Points accumulated by these teams will be divided among their groups. Furthermore, teams will also be re-seeded in order to match teams will equal amount of skills together.
