League stage for Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) Round 1 concludes for Groups 1 and 2 with a vastly different gameplay that keeps the player on a rollercoaster of feelings. Group 1 saw one-sided domination, while Group 2 saw intense fights and comebacks. The top seven teams from each group have now secured their spot for Round 2.
Day 1 overview:
Enigma Gaming, being the veteran one, absolutely demolished everyone in their group and won all three of their matches in a one-sided win. Securing a whopping 78 points, others were nowhere near close to reaching the score.
Their opponents were left scraping the barrel against other teams to stay in the top seven. In a sense, Enigma Gaming made the competition easy for themselves while leaving the others in an intense situation for survival. The seventh team that moved to round two went ahead with merely 14 points across all three matches.

The second group, however, saw a decent matchup with teams fighting for their spot. The first map was secured by Great Esports and had decent standing that helped them to secure a spot in round 2. The Brawlers took the second map and gave others tough competition through all three matches.
The closing map was secured by Echoverse Esports, who had a rough first game but managed to pick up the pace in the second map, leading to a win in the third map.
