There will be a multiplayer map from one of Christopher Nolan's most well-known films, Tenet, in the upcoming shooter, according to a revived Battlefield 6 leak that fans now think is accurate. Playtests for the upcoming Battlefield game, which many are calling Battlefield 6, are currently underway. However, a leak from last year that many dismissed as a hoax now seems to be real and contains a wealth of information about EA and DICE's upcoming Battlefield game.

Although Call of Duty keeps releasing new games every year, Battlefield and Call of Duty are frequently regarded as two of the largest franchises in the first-person shooter genre. Fans haven't seen a new Battlefield game since 2021. EA now appears determined to make amends with the next game as extensive playtests are currently underway.

Battlefield 2042 launched to largely negative reviews as many felt it was a "step back" for the series, and with more than three years having passed since its controversial launch, the gap between mainline titles is becoming the longest in the franchise's history, but there's probably a good reason for that. EA unveiled Battlefield Labs, a new testing environment, earlier this week. Fans may register for the playtest and play a pre-alpha version of the upcoming Battlefield game, allowing EA and DICE get as much community input as possible before the game launches.

Battlefield will have Tenet scene

The disclosure of Battlefield Labs and the game's official codename, Glacier, however, has led Reddit users to realize that a September 2024 leak is indeed authentic. Claiming to have participated in a private playtest for Battlefield 6, the original leaker disclosed that one of the three maps they played "resembled the final battle scene of Tenet," an award-winning film from 2020.

Fortunately, Battlefield Labs sign-ups are already available, meaning that some fortunate fans will soon be able to try out the upcoming Battlefield game for themselves. EA claims that the playtest would give players a chance to try out some of Battlefield 6's most crucial features and provide the team with insightful input.
