AC Shadows seems to be doing fine among gamers

Just days into release, Assassin’s Creed Shadows seems to be doing quite well in player count as per Ubisoft. After reaching 1 million players a day into release, the second day saw the player count reach 2 million, beating the previous record set by AC Origins and Odyssey to become one of the most popular Assassin’s Creed titles.

On top of the new player count milestone, the Steam concurrent player count also crossed 60,000, revealing a lot of interest in the game. A few thousand more and Assassin's Creed Shadows will take down Odyssey which currently holds the highest concurrent player count in the franchise at 62,000.

By the looks of it, the game seems to be doing well on PC and PS5 by reaching the top three spots across both platforms. Of course, the player count shared by Ubisoft does not translate into sales as the company has yet to reveal raw numbers. Likely be within a week of the game’s release as the company hopes to increase everyone’s confidence in Ubisoft once again.

The perfect game varies from player to player with some arguing different points that make a game better, compared to others. However, what Ubisoft has consistently been able to do is make an incredible-looking game with dynamic seasons and weather and a lot of fans have come to appreciate the game on its strong points. On the combat side, playing with Naoe is definitely the way to go, even if some challenging enemies can use a tank like Yasuke to shred through.
