Alpha7 Esports crowned PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024 Champions at Esports World Cup

The PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2024 recently concluded at the Esports World Cup, with Alpha7 Esports crowned as the champions. Securing the win not only got the team a huge chunk of prize money but also an extra slot for their region.

The team has been dominating since the beginning after opening up with a chicken dinner. Alpha7 Esports even went on to secure a second win on the first day of the grand finals and ended the Day secure the top spot on the leaderboard. All in all, the team have secured five chicken dinners out of 18 matches played.

Other teams including REJECT also made up for the early poor performance and managed to sneak in a decent chicken dinner. Day 1 saw REJECT and Alpha7 with the same score, however, the double win led Alpha7 to the top.

The following day Alpha7 saw and kept the ball rolling as the team went on to secure another double chicken dinner. At this point, it was clear that the team was not ready to give up their spot as the final day was closing in.

Tianba lands on top three without a single Win

Who needs chicken dinner when you can just finish up most of the lobbies? Tianba’s performance in the PUBG Mobile World Cup grand finals was very commendable. While others are focusing on securing a chicken dinner, Tianba went on for the kill, taking fights and coming out victorious.

What’s even more interesting is that the final score for the team matches REJECT in the second spot. Since they did not have a single win, and REJECT had two, Tianba landed on third spot, but the performance was nothing less than amazing across the board. Another great performance was from DRX who qualified through the Survival Stage.
