Call of Duty Season 3 delayed by two weeks
Originally, Call of Duty Season 3 was expected to land on March 20th, bringing new content, including the much-awaited Verdansk. Reports of playtesters already trying out the map were floating around. The map will celebrate its 5th anniversary on March 10th, and fans expect some more details.
The delay also applies to Verdansk, something players have been waiting for a while. Naturally, some players are frustrated but are willing to give Call of Duty another chance if the delay results in future improvements in the game.

Why did Activision delay Call of Duty Season 3?
Season 2 was lackluster and failed to capture the attention of players. This was mostly due to several issues players were facing across Black Ops 6 and Warzone, which also led the developers to hold off on some things to introduce on a later date.
The delay in Call of Duty Season 3 is likely to refine the changes made. Fans expect bug fixes and an update to the anti-cheat; however, if the issues remain despite the delay, Activision's reputation will further go down the drain as the game struggles to hold the player count.
