Amidst Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma taking part in the ODI series against South Africa, there are things fans can expect more from them in the upcoming days. As per reports, Virat will play in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025/26 after the conclusion of the ODI series against South Africa.
Virat might take part in two of Delhi's matches scheduled against Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat, which are scheduled to take place on December 24 and 26, respectively in Bengaluru. There is also a likelihood of Rohit Sharma potentially playing for Mumbai in the Indian domestic 50-over format.

Over the last few weeks, there have been several rumors about the two veterans. Some of them are bad and pained the duo in the legative light, as if to claim they are not interested to be a part of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. India's ODI schedule after the series against South Africa
After the ODI series against South Africa, India will play a series against New Zealand, which will have 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is. After that, India isn't scheduled to play an ODI for at least 4-5 months. Hence, it might be important for the duo to take part in the Vijay Hazare Trophy to have some game time.
