The franchise put up a video where Bumrah could be seen meeting up with veteran pacer Trent Boult as the duo hugged each other. Bumrah was in his gear while Boult could be seen wearing casual clothes. This has raised expectations that the 31-year-old Indian seamer could make his return in the game against RCB on Monday.

While the fans will be excited to see Bumrah back in action, it is likely that the 31-year-old will not feature versus RCB at the Wankhede stadium. It is believed that Bumrah will be taking part in the nets session on Sunday. The ideal date for the pacer to make his return to the side could be against Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium next Sunday on 13th April.

‘Players like Virat Kohli don’t need coaching’ – Dinesh Karthik makes massive statement

Former Indian wicketkeeper and batter Dinesh Karthik is currently associated with RCB as a coach. The 39-year-old was in conversation with RCB’s official podcast channel and spoke about his time with Virat Kohli as a coach. Karthik has been heard lavishing praise on the former India and RCB skipper.

Dinesh Karthik said, “Players like Virat Kohli don't need coaching. It can be a bit overrated at times. All they need is support and care. It is the least you can do. He is a man who has achieved everything possible. We want more out of him, which is fair, and he has been doing everything possible.”

The 39-year-old went on to add, “When I stand behind the nets, I just watch. It is, in fact, the other way round. He teaches me a little bit more than I can teach him anything. So far, I've taught him nothing. I make sure I ask him what he wants."
