What happened between Virat Kohli and Sam Konstas?
During the first session of the first day of the Boxing Day Test, Sam took the Indian bowlers to the cleaners with his aggressive batting. The young batter put pressure on the bowlers, most importantly on Jasprit Bumrah, and caused trouble. It got Virat on his nerves who tried to get into the skin of the youngster.
During the progression of the match, Sam was walking back to the crease after having a bit of chat with Usman Khawaja. That was when Virat confronted him and had a shoulder exchange. Sam did not expect it and looked at Virat as if to ask what was wrong with him.
The duo then exchanged words. Usman stopped Konstas from having a go at Virat. The umpires interfered and stopped Kohli from doing anything further to the youngster. Sam did his job more than well, as he scored 60 runs in 65 balls and put Australia on the front foot in his very first Test inning.
