India's talented batter Sarfaraz Khan's inclusion in the Indian Test squad was the effect of his hard work and consistency in scoring runs in the domestic set-up. He's a talented batter and deserved a chance to make his place in the Indian team. His performance was absolutely brilliant in the ongoing Duleep Trophy 2024 which was one of the reasons behind his selection in the Indian squad for the upcoming Bangladesh series.

After announcing India's squad, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the selected players from Duleep Trophy. However, they haven't released Sarfaraz Khan from Team India B's squad and he is set to feature in the leg two of the tournament. The Board hasn't disclosed the reason behind this yet, and it left everyone wondering about this decision.

If we look at the Indian squad closely, keeper-batter KL Rahul is present in the squad and had a good outing in the Duleep Trophy and has made a significant contribution to India's overseas success. Hence, his inclusion in the playing XI is given. Sarfaraz's chances of being included in the team will decrease if Rahul gets a chance. Hence, this might be the reason why Sarfaraz wasn't released from the Duleep Trophy team.
