The world of cricket will be ready to see the Indians back in action in the red ball format as they will be competing against Bangladesh in a 2- match Test series starting from the 19th September. The Indians have so far enjoyed their winning streak at home which has extended to over 4000 days and there is no doubt they will want to continue this streak against the Bangla tigers as well.

Though Bangladesh have been struggling as a team in the last few seasons they will come into this Test series with a lot of confidence after beating the mighty Pakistan team in their home ground. This means that even tough not everything might be going well for the Tigers, but they are still capable of surprising some of the best teams in the World even when they are not at their best. 

India announce their Test squad

There were a lot of fans who were waiting for India to announce their Test sqaud which they have finally done and there are some interesting players in the mix. The sqaud has already got the perfect ballance with the top batters like Virat Kohli, skipper Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul will seem to be the key experienced players in the batting order along with the young fiery talent of Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sarfaraz Khan. The only problem that might be is the excessive wicketkeeping options which will be tough to pick from with likes of Dhruv Jurel and Rishabh Pant in the mix.

India Test squad: Rohit Sharma (C), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant (WK), Dhruv Jurel (WK), R Ashwin, R Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohd. Siraj, Akash Deep, Jasprit Bumrah, Yash Dayal.

The depth in the squad is also added with the three relaible all rounders in Ravi Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar patel along with the experience of Jasprit Bumrah and Mohd Siraj who will be leading the pace attack. There are some young options like Akash Deep and Yash Dayal who are a great addition to the squad as well. Despite some shocking exclusions like Mohd Shami this still seems to be a well ballanced squad which will be tough to beat at home.
