India won the first match of the tournament between both sides by 7 wickets. The second match went in its favor too, as they comfortably chased down over 170. Abhishek Sharma has been the biggest difference between India and other teams in the tournament, so far.

Apart from him, the Indian bowling unit has been excpetional. In particular, the spin department led by Kuldep Yadav has been exceptional, making the lives of the batters difficult. Pakistan's weaknesses in Asia Cup 2025

On the other hand, Pakistan have a lot to think about, as far as their chances are concerned. Their batting lineup has been bad. The top and middle order batters have neither scored enough runs, nor showed intent, which cost them against India, and nearly did against Bangladesh as well.

Shaheen Afridi has not just been Pakistan's best batter, but has been the best finisher of the tournament. Their bowling unit is good too. However, if the batters do not step up in the big match, India will be able to defend its title. They have a better all-round team capable of beating Pakistan.
