Abhishek Sharma - 907*

Abhishek became the third Indian to reach the milestone and achieved T20I ratings of 907, following his 74(38) against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025. The star batter has been in a purple patch, scoring runs for fun at a great strike rate in most of his matches. 

Abhishek has a strike rate of over 197 after first 21 matches in the format, which is the highest for a batter in the history of the sport. The Southpaw has a great chance of not just breaking the Indian record, but set a new record to have the highest T20I ratings for a batter.

Virat Kohli - 909

Virat Kohli is arguably the greatest batter in the history of T20Is. The former Indian batter won back-to-back Player of the Tournament award in the T20 World Cup in 2014 and 2016, respectively. He additionally had two other great tournaments in 2012 and 2022, respectively.

However, Virat's absolute best in T20 was in 2016, when he scored a whopping 973 runs in the IPL at an average of over 81 and a strike rate of over 152. In T20Is, he was even better, scoring 641 runs at an average of over 106 and a strike rate of over 140, including a Player of the Tournament win.

Suryakumar Yadav - 912

Suryakumar Yadav was at his absolute best in T20Is in 2022, when he delivered arguably the greatest batting performance in a calendar year in T20Is. In 31 matches in the year, the right-handed batter scored a whopping 1164 runs at an average of 46.56, at an exceptional strike rate of 187.44, including 2 hundreds and 9 fifty-plus scores.

In the T20 World Cup in the same year, the Indian skipper scored 239 runs in 6 innings at a great average of 59.75, at a sensational strike rate of 189.68, including a fantastic 68(40) against South Africa. It was during this year that Yadav achieved his career-best T20I ratings.
