Speaking about his journey, the star player made his IPL debut back in 2016 for the Punjab Kings; however, he wasn't able to mark his impression, and the side released him further. However, LSG picked him during the 2023 IPL auctions but later released him ahead of the 2024 IPL auctions. Notably, the KL Rahul-led side struck him on the bench as Ravi Bishnoi was there in the squad, which didn't allow Singh to get a place in the starting XI of the LSG camp.

Meanwhile, RCB has acquired his services ahead of IPL 2024, and he performed extremely well in the last clash, where he guided a great win over Pat Cummins and Co by 35 runs on their home soil. RCB went on to show faith in him, and now he has paid after clinching a great win over the SRH side.

Swapnil Singh had the best season of Syed Mushtaq Ali back in 2014–15

Meanwhile, Swapnil Singh had the best season of Syed Mushtaq Ali back in 2014–15, where his best figure was 6/19 in the four overs. However, after the season, he got a place in Uttarakhand. Intrestingly, the all-rounder was in the spot to get picked up for the U-19 World Cup 2008 whenVirat Kohli was leading the side, but he was unable to take the place.

However, Swapnil Singh played a great role in the last cash as he hammered 12 runs from six balls as well as took the wickets of two of the most lethal batters, Aiden Markran  and Heinrich Klaasen, who possess the ability to smash the bowlers like in the video game, but Singh stole the limelight after disminating the South African duo.
