India skipper Rohit Sharma came up with a hilarious anecdote while sharing a story of his initial days in international cricket when he made his debut for India. Notably, Rohit Sharma started his career almost 17 years back in the year 2007. Later, he was also a part of the Indian team that won the inaugural edition of the ICC T20 World Cup 2007.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma recalled an amazing incident involving the former legendary Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh. Rohit also revealed how Yuvi used to treat the juniors and new players of the tournament.

Here's what Rohit Sharma said about Yuvraj Singh

During a show with Indian comedian Kapil Sharma, Rohit Sharma spoke his heart out on his experience with being in the team, alongside Yuvraj Singh who had spent 6-7 years in team India when Rohit Sharma made his debut.

“When I first came into the side, I got up in the team bus and unfortunately sat down at his seat. That became a problem. I did not know players had their preferred seats. So, Yuvi pa being Yuvi pa just made eye contact with me and gestured for me to move. RP Singh was sitting behind me and he explained that it was Yuvraj's seat. I thought I missed the name written on the seat,” said Rohit Sharma to Kapil Sharma during the show while speaking about Yuvraj Singh’s hilarious attitude as a senior.

“He liked to scare people. He liked scarring us,” he added later which left the audience in the splits.

Currently, Rohit Sharma is active with Mumbai Indians in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024. A lot of controversy surrounded his name when the franchise removed him from captaincy and appointed the star all-rounder Hardik Pandya as the captain of the team. It also cost a lot for the new skipper Hardik Pandya as he has been subjected to booing from the MI and Rohit Sharma fans in the first few matches of MI in the tournament.
