The day/night match is scheduled for December 6 and will be an important game for India since their performance with the Pink ball hasn't been great. Rohit Sharma has returned to Australia, and he will be a part of the game as well.

Rohit Sharma returns to Australia

Captain Rohit Sharma is back in Australia ahead of the 2nd Test match in Canberra. The captain wasn't present in the first game on the occasion of the birth of his second son. Now that he is back, the management will be in a dilemma about dropping a player from the previous team. Meanwhile, Shubman Gill is still not fit for the 2nd game, and there's a possibility that KL Rahul will bat in No. 3.

In that case, Devdutt Padikkal or Dhruv Jurel will be dropped since their performance wasn't that great. Jasprit Bumrah will sreturn to being the vice-captain of the team on Rohit's return. The Pink Ball Test matches have always been challenging for the team, and this time, they will hope to overcome this record.
