Jasprit Bumrah, the star pacer for India is back at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru and is getting ready for his gym and first bowling session. At the National Cricket Academy (NCA), he will start his lighting training and will be under observation of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). In the last few weeks, Jasprit Bumrah underwent some scans for his injury which happened during the fourth day of the last test match between India and Australia in BGT.
“Even if there is a 1% chance, the BCCI is likely to wait. They did the same with Hardik Pandya as they waited for close to two weeks before getting Prasidh Krishna as a replacement. Even when Shunman Gill was down with dengue, they didn't have any thoughts of looking for a replacement. Yes, those two incidents happened during the campaign but approach with Bumrah could well be no different," as per Times Of India.
On the other hand, during his career, Jasprit Bumrah has suffered many injuries which led him to miss many ICC events for India. He missed two T20 World Cups in 2021 and 2022 followed by World Test Championship Final in 2023. This issue worries Team India as the Champions Trophy 2025 nears. However, BCCI has not made any official announcement on Jasprit Bumrah's availability for the ICC Champions Trophy as they hope he will get ready for play by the time of the first game in the tournament.
