Amidst the ongoing controversy between the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) skipper KL Rahul and owner Sanjiv Goenka, assistant coach Lance Klusener opened up and said that there is no issue between the two of them. This incident took place after the match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), where Goenka was seen having an animated conversation with Rahul. It was quite evident through his gestures that he was disappointed with the team's performance and was venting it out on the skipper.

"I don't see any problem with some robust discussion between two cricket lovers. So for us, I guess it's just a storm in a teacup. We love a robust discussion. I think that's how teams get better. So, it's not a big thing for us," said LSG assistant coach Lance Klusener during the pre-match press conference.

In that match, SRH chased down a score of 167 runs in 9.4 overs with 10 wickets to spare. Thanks to the openers Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head, it rained boundaries and sixes in the stadium as the bowlers were left clueless. Moreover, the worst part about the defeat was the incapability of the bowlers to concede one wicket. That loss did hurt the fans and the LSG team as their net run rate dropped massively.

KL Rahul didn't travel with LSG team to Delhi: Reports

After the videos went viral on social media, there were various reports which claimed that KL Rahul would leave the captaincy position and the team as well in the next season. However, as per recent reports, Rahul did not travel to Delhi with his teammates for the match against the Delhi Capitals (DC). If the reports are to be believed, there is a rift going on between the skipper and the owner and hence, he might miss the game as well.

Moreover, this game is extremely important for LSG if they want to qualify for the playoffs. Hence, it's not expected from KL Rahul to leave his team in times of crisis since he's the skipper and the most significant batter of the side. Since nothing's made official, fans can just wait until the match starts.
