Speaking of Team India’s journey in the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025, they have now officially qualified for the semi-finals after New Zealand defeated Bangladesh by 5 wickets in Monday’s game. The Men in Blue themselves defeated their Asian rivals Bangladesh and Pakistan in their first two games by the big margins of 6 wickets each.
Now, Rohit Sharma’s men will take on New Zealand in their third and last league-stage game of the tournament. The high-voltage for the number 1 spot in Group A will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on March 2, at 2:30 PM (IST). The amazing thing about the upcoming game between India and New Zealand is that both teams are unbeaten in the tournament so far, so, it will be interesting to see who blinks first.
Notably, it will be the third consecutive semi-final appearance for Team India in the ICC Champions Trophy since 2013, when they won the title under the captaincy of former legendary skipper MS Dhoni
