Former India skipper and the modern-day batting great, Virat Kohli has made a return to India’s playing XI in the ongoing second ODI against England in Cuttack. The batting stalwart missed the first ODI in Nagpur due to a back spasm. All eyes will be on him when he makes it to bat in the second ODI.
Meanwhile, Kohli attracted the eyeballs for his heartfelt gesture for the school kids during the first Innings. The moment came when Virat was fielding near the boundary line. He approached the school kids sitting at the boundary line and shook hands with them.

Speaking of the action of the ongoing second ODI between India and England in Cuttack. The visiting skipper Jos Buttler won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, England were bowled out at the score of 304 runs in 49.5 overs. Former skipper and veteran batter Joe Root scored crucial 69 runs off 72 balls, with six fours following opener Ben Duckett’s 65 runs off 56 balls.
Besides these two, the batting all-rounder Liam Livingstone also scored 41 runs off 32 balls, with two fours and two sixes, alongside 31 and 34 runs scored by Harry Brook and skipper Jos Buttler, respectively.
Star India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja scalped 3 wickets at just 35 runs in 10 overs, including a maiden over. Mohammed Shami, Harshit Rana, Hardik Pandya, and Varun Chakravarthy also claimed a wicket each.
