Star India batter and vice-captain, Shubman Gill displayed sensational athleticism against England in the ongoing second ODI of the three-match series. Gill executed an outstanding catch to dismiss England’s well-settled middle-order batter Harry Brook in the 30th over of England’s innings. Vice-captain’s unbelievable catch happened to break the established partnership between Joe Root and Harry Brook.
The moment came on the fourth ball of the 30th over when Harshit Rana bowled an off-cutter to Brook. The batter moved to the leg side to make room but the ball went in his body’s front resulting in a mistime. Eventually, Brook played it in the air and Gill put on an amazing effort, running from mid-off towards the boundary to finish a sensational catch.
The video of this unbelievable catch taken by Shubman Gill also made rounds on social media as soon as it was shared by the official broadcasters on their official X handle (formerly Twitter).
