Bangladesh were outplayed by India during the first Test in Chennai as they lost by 280 runs. Former India skipper Virat Kohli may have had a quiet time with the bat but he was at his best in the field with his hilarious antics. The 35-year-old was seen in a playful mood on Sunday, which turned out to be the final day of the game.

Virat Kohli could be seen doing the ‘Nagin’ gesture to taunt the Bangladeshi team. The incident in question was captured by a fan. This video is now doing the rounds on social media.

Team India have retained the same side for the second Test in Kanpur. There were hopes that Ishan Kishan could be in running for a possible spot in the team. The second Test starts on Friday as the visitors will look to make a comeback.

Ravi Shastri gives crucial advice to Kohli

Former Indian coach Ravi Shastri during his commentary stint gave a crucial piece of advice to Virat Kohli. The 35-year-old scored 6 runs in the first innings before edging behind to Litton Das off Hasan Mahmud. In the second innings, the former India skipper scored 17 before falling to Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

Ravi Shastri could be heard saying, “He has been dismissed by the spinners especially in the last 2-3 years. But he has scored a lot of runs too. What you want to see him do more is use his feet, get to the pitch of the ball, probably employ the sweep. You’ve got to move with the times, don’t be afraid to go over the top when the field is up.”

The former Indian coach also said, “You could try and do things to unsettle the spinners rather than them to keep bowling at you. It’s what he did a lot when he scored a lot of runs”. Kohli, has scored just 2 centuries in the last five years of Test cricket.

Ravi Shastri also added, “Also some of the tracks India have played on haven’t been easy. Plus I know a few dismissals like where Shubman Gill in the first innings, even Kohli has gotten caught down the leg side. Funny dismissals, and he will be aware of it. There is no batter who doesn’t remember. Obviously you find a method of finding a solution, find out what works for you and stick with that.”
