Meanwhile, the cameras happened to catch Kohli in an animated conversation with RCB’s batting coach, Dinesh Karthik, near the boundary line during the 16th over. This conversation between Dinesh Karthik and Virat Kohli also sparked speculations that the latter was not happy with the field placements and the utilization of bowlers executed by Rajat Patidar.

Speaking of the action of the game between RCB and DC, the visiting skipper Axar Patel won the toss and asked RCB to bat first. Batting first, the hosts posted a total of 163 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Phil Salt and Tim David scored 37 runs each off just 17 and 20 balls, alongside Virat Kohli’s 22 runs off 12 balls, with one four and two sixes.
Vipraj Nigam and Kuldeep Yadav scalped 2 wickets each, alongside a wicket each picked by Mukesh Kumar and Mohit Sharma.
