In 2023, Virat Kohli was not a person who used to believe in idol worshipping. This is something he previously mentioned at a press conference saying, “Do I look the pooja-paath types?” Now if we fast-forward his journey, it is quite evident that in the past two years, a lot of things have changed in Virat's life. On Sunday morning, the former India captain Virat Kohli, accompanied by his wife Anushka Sharma, visited Ayodhya Dham. Later, the star couple was seen spending their time visiting the Hanumangarhi temple, where they went to worship Ramlala and Bajrang Bali.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma frequently visited the Hanumangarhi and Ram Mandir for a long time. They received the blessings of Mahant Sanjay Das Ji Maharaj as well. In order to catch a glimpse of Anushka Sharma and Virat, hundreds of fans had come. The video of Virat Kohli worshiping in the Hanuman temple with devotion are making rounds on social media. During his prayers, Virat and Anushkha were greeted with flower garlands by the priest.

As per reports, the couple went to Ramlala temple around seven o'clock and left the temple after some time. The visit comes ahead of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru game against Lucknow Super Giants. Anushka travelled to Lucknow with her cricketer husband to witness the RCB vs. SRH game on May 23. Anushka Sharma is often spotted supporting her husband, Virat Kohli, from the stands while he plays. Recently, when Virat Kohli retired from Test cricket after 14 years, the pair travelled to Vrindavan to see the Premanand Maharaj.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru eyes on winning IPL
After taking retirement from T20 international back in 2024, Virat is having a great IPL season for RCB. He started the season by scoring 59 runs and remained unbeaten as RCB won the season opener of IPL 2025. Keeping up with the top form since the first game, the star batter for RCB smashed 548 runs, with an average of 60.89. He also has seven half-centuries to his name in the ongoing IPL. For the second straight season RCB are in IPL playoffs.
After the poor gameplay against Sunrisers Hyderabad, RCB’s qualifier 1 is in danger. Currently, it looks like RCB will be playing the eliminator. However, the last league game for RCB is against LSG, and the team is hoping to win the game and create some chance of finishing the season in the top two spots. This season, RCB looks like the team will win the title as they have had some good performances in the league stage games.
