A fan in the recently concluded SA20 2025 game between Pretoria Capitals and Paarl Royals, showcased his amazing skills in the spectators’ area. The moment came in the game when a six went straight in the spectators’ region and a fan completed a no-effort catch, leaving everyone shocked and amused.
The video of this moment immediately went viral on social media as soon as it was shared by a user on X (formerly Twitter). This amazing catch has also attracted eyeballs as it was one of those catches which are top contenders for the prize of 2 million in SA20 2025.

Speaking of the action of the game, the Pretoria Capitals won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, the Capitals posted a big total of 212 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Will Smeed scored 54 runs off 34 balls, with five balls and three sixes. Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Kyle Verreynne also scored 42 and 45 runs, respectively.
Dayyaan Galiem and Mujeeb Ur Rahman claimed two wickets each, alongside a wicket bagged by Eshan Malinga for Paarl Royals.
While chasing the target, Paarl Royals’ batters completely outplayed the bowling attack of the Capitals and chased down the target in 19.4 overs, scoring 213 runs for the loss of just 2 wickets and winning the game by 8 wickets.
The veteran opener Joe Root smashed an unbeaten 92 runs off just 60 balls, with 11 fours and two sixes. Rubin Hermann also scored 55 runs off 33 balls, with five fours and three sixes followed by skipper David Miller’s unbeaten 48 runs off just 24 balls, with 4 fours and two sixes.
Will Jacks and James Neesham were the only wicket-takers for Pretoria Capitals, scalping a wicket each. With this win, Pretoria Capitals are now placed in the fourth spot on the tournament’s points table.
