His knock played a vital role in helping the Gujarat Titans chase down the 170-run target comfortably in just 17.5 overs, scoring 170 runs for the loss of just 2 wickets and winning the game by a big margin of 8 wickets.
In his sensational match-winning knock, Buttler also smashed a spectacular six on a scoop shot which drew a priceless reaction from the GT skipper Shubman Gill. The moment came on the second ball of the 18th over against the veteran RCB pacer Josh Hazlewood.
