Pakistan skipper Shan Masood is under pressure as his team suffered their first ever loss to Bangladesh in Test match. The Bangladeshi side beat Pakistan by 10 wickets with a session left to be played during the opening game in Rawalpindi.

It has come to light that Pakistan skipper Shan Masood has had a massive confrontation inside the dressing room with coach Jason Gillespie. The former Australian pacer and Shan Masood can be seen arguing over something during the penultimate day of the Test.

Apart from Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan none of the Pakistani batters put up a fight. Mehidy Hasan Miraz was the best bowler for Bangladesh with 4 wickets while former skipper Shakib Al Hasan picked 3 wickets to bowl out Pakistan on the final day.

Shan Masood makes massive statement after loss

Speaking at the end of the game, Pakistani skipper Shan Masood didn’t blame the pitch for the loss. “Never to make an excuse, it (the pitch) didn't play the way we thought it would. Also the weather it had been around in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, it rained around 8-9 days before the first day of play. Firstly looking at the pitch, we expected it to do a bit more. With three pace bowlers, they were gonna be pushed to the limit. At the end of the day, we got it wrong”

Shan Masood also said “A lot can happen under pressure. There have been mistakes and we have to do better when we play next. There's always room for a spinner, we lost Aamer Jamal who does well with both bat and ball. In Sydney, Sajid Khan played, going with four pacers didn't work in this game. There have been different pitches produced, it's a huge lesson for us on what to expect from our own conditions. The key is to consider the conditions and not make the same mistakes we have made here”

Meanwhile, Bangladesh skipper Najmul Shanto was delighted with the win as he said “It's very special, last night I spoke with my wife. She said if we win, it will be very good and luckily, we won today. It's very massive, we had never won here, but we believed before the start of the series and we did really well. Especially in the last 10-15 days, we have worked really hard. Credit goes to all the bowlers, Nahid bowled really well, Shakib was also good and Mehidy bowled with a lot of control and bowled the right lines and lengths”
