An unexpected incident unfolded during the ongoing RCB-W vs MI-W clash in the WPL 2025 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru when Shabnim Ismail dismissed the RCB skipper Smriti Mandhana. Ismail bowled ‘back of a length’ outside the off stump which compelled Mandhana to play across the line but it couldn’t be enough and the ball went straight into the air, which was caught by wicketkeeper Yastika Bhatia.
