India masters didn’t break any sweat as they beat England masters by nine wickets in the International Masters League T20 (IMLT20) tournament. Sachin Tendulkar, who had scored 10 runs in the match against Sri Lanka, played some vintage shots to entertain the crowd. India master skipper scored 34 runs from just 21 balls with five fours and a six.

Tendulkar began with a spectacular drive that sped to the fence past the cover fielder. It was a vintage Sachin Tendulkar shot that saw the fielders stay rooted to the spot. This was followed by a charge down the wicket to send the ball scurrying to the boundary. The best shot of the match came when Bresnan bowled a short ball to Tendulkar.

India’s batting legend got into position and pulled the ball deep into the backward square leg for a six. This was followed by two more fours to leave the fans marvelling at the batting talents shown by the best batter the world has ever seen. Just as the fans hoped for a big knock, Chris Schofield ended Tendulkar’s knock caught by Tim Ambrose in the eighth over.

Yuvraj Singh, who was sent out to bat at number three, was not out on 27 off 14 balls with four boundaries and a six.

Earlier in the day, India won the toss and bowled first and restricted England to 132/8 from their 20 overs. Pawan Negi was given man of the match for his two wickets with the ball and three crucial catches. The best batter for England was Darren Maddy with 25 while Tim Ambrose scored 23.
