Former legendary India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh lavished praises on the former India skipper and the modern-day batting great Virat Kohli. Notably, Kohli hasn’t been in an expected run of form with the bat for the last couple of months across all formats. However, he gained some of his touch back in the third and last ODI of the three-match series against England in India.
Meanwhile, Yuvraj Singh named Kohli the best player of all formats in their generation of players. The former World Champion all-rounder also feels that form should not be a major concern while talking about Kohli as it is something which is supposed to go through some ups and downs in a long career of 17-18 years.
“There is no comparison” – Yuvraj Singh on Virat Kohli
Kohli will be in action for India in their campaign opener against Bangladesh in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The Men in Blue will play their first game at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on February 20.
“Main unko King Kohli, MahaVirat toh wo kaafi saalon se hain, aur form ka jahan tak kehna hai toh wo 17-18 saal ke career mein upar neeche hoti rehti hai, but aapko unka graph dekhna chahiye. Hamari generation ka, he’s the best player of all formats, there’s no comparison (I call him King Kohli, he’s The Kohli for a lot of years now. As far as the form is concerned, it gets a bit up and down in a long career of almost 17-18 years but you should see his graph. In our generation, he is the best player of all formats, there is no comparison),” said Yuvraj Singh on Star Sports.
