In the ongoing 2nd Test match against Bangladesh, Rohit Sharma started his innings on a fiery note. He slammed two back-to-back sixes off Khaled Ahmed in the 2nd over of the game. After the game was washed out for two days due to rain, it finally resumed on day four. Knowing the importance of the match and wanting to get a result, Indian batters decided to attack the Bangladesh bowlers and score quick runs.

From the other side, Yashasvi Jaiswal, too, wreaked havoc on the bowlers with boundaries and sixes in every over. He hit a boundary on the 2nd ball of the match, and following his footsteps, Rohit started with a bang. Rohit's first six came as he charged down the ground, and the ball flew down the long-on. The next ball was short of length, which is Rohit's territory, and he pulled it over deep square leg.

However, he couldn't keep the momentum going as he got out 23 runs. He just faced 11 balls and hit one boundary and three sixes. After his wicket, Shubman Gill walked into bat. Currently, Jaiswal is smashing the bowlers with boundaries and sixes.

India breaks England's record to score fastest fifty in Test match

The Indian cricket team smashed the fastest fifty in a Test match, breaking England's record. In the 1st innings against Bangladesh, Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed the bowlers and went on to score the fastest fifty for India in just three overs. The feat was with England as they had scored 50 runs in 4.2 overs against West Indies.

However, Indian openers came in a different mood altogether and broke the record. Jaiswal scored a brilliant half-century in just 30 balls including ten boundaries and one six. With that, he became the fastest player to score a half-century against Bangladesh. The way India are playing, they might put up a huge score on the board.
