WATCH: Rohit Sharma breaks his sunglasses while fielding, support staff turns it into a ‘sigma’ moment

Rohit Sharma is one of the most fun personalities in the Indian team, and he keeps everyone entertained even though he is the most senior member of the team. In yesterday's game against India against New Zealand, Rohit was fielding in the second innings when his sunglasses broke as he fell on them. He handed over the broken pieces to one of the team's support staff members, who was sitting right next to the boundary. 

The staff fixed the pieces of the sunglasses and wore it himself while the camera focussed on him. It was one of the most hilarious moments of the match, which went viral on the internet. India went on to clinch victory and remained in the top spot of the tournament. Varun Chakaravarthy's fifer and Shreyas Iyer's half-century helped India win the game with ease.

Moreover, India will now play their semi-final match against Australia in Dubai. While the Australian team doesn't have a good pace attack, their batting is strong, as always. Hence, it will be a battle between Rohit Sharma and Travis Head once again. This time, the Indian fans would hope to have different results.

Former India batter Ambati Rayadu makes a bold prediction, saying it will be a brilliant contest between Adam Zampa and Virat Kohli. The struggle of Kohli against leg spinners has been pretty evident in recent times, and hence, he will be a bit conscious in the semi-finals. Moreover, Kohli is back in form after hitting a brilliant century against Pakistan in the Champions Trophy 2025.  

"It’s going to be Adam Zampa versus Virat Kohli. Virat has struggled a bit against leg spinners lately, but the kind of form he has shown in this tournament will serve him well against Australia," said Ambati Rayadu.
