India's next assignment will be the 2nd Test match that will be played at the Green Park, Kanpur. Moreover, a lot of players are yet to reach the venue to play the game. Before that, they will spectate the pitch and make strategies accordingly.

KL Rahul's form is huge concern for Board

Even though KL Rahul is one of the best batters in the team and produced some brilliant knocks in the past across nations, his form has become a major concern for the Indian team. Rahul has been injury-prone throughout his career, which doesn't let him be consistent in the game.

However, captain Rohit Sharma did come in support of him and said that the team isn't worried about Rahul as he is a great player, and everybody has confidence in him. However, in the 1st Test match, he didn't perform well and got out cheaply on 16 runs, which has been the case for a while.

Even former player Sanjay Manjrekar expressed his concern for the player and his phase and said, "This has been the Rahul story. Amazingly, he plays a brilliant inning at the Test level and in the next two or three innings it seems like he has got a pair in the last Test. Even when you saw him bat today, it almost seemed like an innings without purpose. That can happen, it happened to me in the second half of my career where everything was internal."
