Former Indian coach Rahul Dravid was seen in Bengaluru speaking and spending time with a few members of Team India. The 51-year-old could be spotted chatting with skipper Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, and Virat Kohli. Dravid is set to take charge of Rajasthan Royals ahead of IPL 2025 season.

In a short video that is doing the rounds, Dravid could be seen warming chatting with the trio. India’s former batting star and coach could be seen shadow practicing and seen intently listening to Rishabh Pant. The 51-year-old also said something to Rohit Sharma that cracked up India’s skipper.

Rahul Dravid stepped down as the coach of India’s team after the T20 World Cup tournament. India beat South Africa under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma to end the wait for an ICC title. During the Rohit and Dravid era, India reached the finals of the WTC in 2023 and also the ODI World Cup finals the same year.

Sanju Samson recounts failures after match-winning knock-on Saturday

Indian star Sanju Samson scored his first T20I ton against Bangladesh off just 40 balls. The 29-year-old seemed relieved after reaching the mark as he was seen celebrating with uncharacteristic aggression on his face. Post this knock, many are expecting Samson to replace Rohit Sharma as the opener in the T20I format.

Speaking at the end of the game to Jio Cinema, the 29-year-old said “The dressing room energy and the boys out there have a lot of happiness for me. Very happy that they are happy I did well,”

Indian batter also said “It can get frustrating knowing what you can do out there, and I have also felt I can do much better, but with playing so many games, I know how to deal with pressure and my failures because I have failed a lot. Just focus was on process and knowing you will do well”

“Playing for your country that pressure was there but I wanted to perform and wanted to show. But I still kept it basic and wanted to take it by one ball. The leadership tells me they back me no matter what... not just in words but in actions also. Last series I got two ducks and went back to Kerala thinking what will happen, but I'm here” said India’s hero of the final T20I.
