India's current opener, Sanju Samson, finally grabbed the opportunity and scored a magnificent century against Bangladesh in the 3rd T20I game. With the help of his century, India scored 297 runs in a T20I game. This is the second-highest score in T20I history. Samson's inning was full of entertainment as he scored 111 runs in 47 balls, including 11 boundaries and eight sixes.

Former India cricketer Aakash Chopra, in his recent video, revealed that head coach Gautam Gambhir is a huge fan of Samson's batting and used to wait for him to score runs so that he could tweet about him. Chopra said, "Gautam used to wait for Sanju to do well for him to tweet. Gautam was a Sanju fan. He may still be a Sanju fan because of the way he batted."

Chopra heaped praises on Samson's batting approach in the game as the player kept on smashing the ball out of the park. He hit eight sixes, which were huge. This was an important innings for him, and he did justice to the chances given to him by the selectors.

Aakash Chopra also said that ending the series on a bad note against a team like Bangladesh will hurt for a long time. "You don't often get to bat first twice in a three-match series on good pitches with the opposing team not pushing you that much. In such a scenario, if you send the series without scoring runs, the pressure increases, and on Sanju in any case," added Chopra.

This is one of the most important reasons behind India's success in cricket.

"The dressing room energy and the boys really have lots of happiness for me. I am very happy. They are happy that I did well. It can get frustrating knowing what you can do out there and the way I have been batting, I thought that could have done much better," said Sanju Samson.
