At the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, during the 45th IPL 2025 match between the Mumbai Indians and the Lucknow Super Giants, Prince Yadav sent off Will Jacks with a fantastic delivery. Suryakumar Yadav and Will Jacks were forming a solid partnership, but Prince Yadav, who was bowling his second over, had some different plans.
At a speed of 137 km/h, Prince Yadav bowled a yorker-length ball with a slight reverse swing in the direction of the middle and leg. Will Jacks attempted to whip it through the leg side, but his bat was too slow to come down. He missed the ball, which smashed into the middle stump's base. After hitting 29 off 21 balls, three fours, and a six against the Lucknow Super Giants at the Wankhede Stadium, Jacks walked back to the pavilion.

Two news debutants in the game
In the Lucknow Super Giants' playing XI on Sunday afternoon against the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium, express pacer Mayank Yadav made his debut in the 2025 Indian Premier League, taking Shardul Thakur's place. Having won the toss, LSG captain Rishabh Pant chose to field instead. Mayank hasn't played since India's October 2024 Twenty20 International match against Bangladesh. Expected to return by the second week of April, the fast bowler was training at the Board of Control for Cricket in India's Centre of Excellence.
But early in the season, Mayank injuyred his toe which further delayed his return, as LSG head coach Justin Langer said. South African seam bowling all-rounder Corbin Bosch received his first cap from the Mumbai Indians, who are currently on a four-game winning streak that momentarily moved them to third place in the points standings. As MI benched left-arm wrist spinner Vignesh Puthur and left-arm finger spinner Mitchell Santner, leg-spinner Karn Sharma was also added.
