Pretoria Capitals’ star all-rounder Senuran Muthusamy displayed a sensational piece of fielding against Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the recently concluded 7th game of the ongoing SA20 2025. The game was played at the SuperSport Park in Centurion. The Capitals’ skipper Rilee Rossouw won the toss and asked SEC to bat first.

The bowling attack of the capitals, including Senruan Muthusamy bundled out the Eastern Cape at the score of just 113 runs in 19.4 overs. But the fans were left awestruck and amused with the brilliant fielding heroics of Muthusamy on his delivery on the last ball of the 12th over.

The 30-year-old delivered a full-length floated delivery outside the off stump, Kruger used his front foot to smash towards the bowler’s end. But it was Muthusamy who came up with an astonishing response to it with an unexpected and outstanding catch, dismissing Patrick Kruger in a caught and bold.

Speaking of the action of the match, it was the star all-rounder Marco Jansen who saved Sunrisers Eastern Cape with a half-century and avoided an embarrassing all-out. He scored 51 runs off 35 balls, with 4 fours and three sixes. His knock helped SEC to reach a total of 113 runs in 19.4 overs.

While chasing the target, the Pretoria Capitals comfortably chased down the target in just 16 overs, scoring 115 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. Star opener Will Jacks played an important knock of 27 runs off 23 balls, with three fours and a six. His knock was followed by a decisive and match-winning unbeaten knock of 39 runs off 30 balls, with two fours and two sixes. Eventually, the Capitals won the game by 6 wickets to add another win to their name in the tournament.
