RCB’s Phil Salt took a stunning catch at the deep square leg boundary to dismiss the well-set PBKS opener Priyansh Arya in the RCB vs PBKS IPL 2025 final. The moment came on the sixth and last ball of the fifth over in the second innings during PBKS’ run chase. Josh Hazlewood bowled a ‘back of a length’ delivery to Arya, and the latter played it towards the deep square leg fence.
Salt made no mistake in executing a brilliantly juggled catch, avoiding a touch with the boundary line to save six runs and give a wicket on the same ball to his side in the high-octane IPL final.
The video of Phil Salt’s sensational catch to dismiss the young, in-form PBKS opener Priyansh Arya also went viral on social media as soon as it was shared by the IPL on their official X handle (formerly Twitter).
