India's rivalry with Australia has been historic in the game of cricket, and hence, the Border-Gavaskar Trophy came to light. While every year the series is played, in the last decade, Australia hasn't had a chance to touch the trophy which is quite embarrassing for them. Now, the players are all pumped up for this series more than ever since it came under the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025 cycle.

Australia's captain Pat Cummins, who is known for giving open challenges to opponents, has expressed his excitement regarding the upcoming series against India in a video released by Star Sports. Cummins said, 'It's time to make amends,' and that's one of the scariest things to hear since it's coming from him. While nothing matters to the Indian Cricket team, the fans are certainly not happy with Cummins' statements.

"In the last two series here in Australia we haven't been successful so it's been a long time, hopefully, time to make amends. We've played them (India) plenty of times where they've beaten us, but we've also had plenty of wins against them so we'll draw confidence from that," said Cummins in the video shared by Star Sports.

Australia vs India starts on November 22

The most-awaited series of the year, the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024, is set to start on November 22 in Australia. After 2014, Australia hasn't laid their hands on the trophy and is desperate enough to win this year. They'll go to all sorts of levels to clinch the series victory, and with Virat Kohli's presence, it will be fun to watch how the series unfolds.

India will have prominent bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj, and if Mohammed Shami is fit, he'll also be a part of the team. Now, this series will definitely be a clash between the Indian batters and the Australian bowlers, which will be the most exciting and interesting part of the series. Now that Cummins has given an ultimatum already, hearing Rohit Sharma about the series will be fun.
