It has been three years since the former Caribbean stalwart Kieron Pollard made his last appearance for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League during the 2022 edition. Pollard played his last IPL game against the Kolkata Knight Riders in the 56th match of that season.

Currently, Kieron Pollard is associated with the Mumbai Indians in the capacity of a batting coach Mumbai Indians in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League 2025. He has been active in the same capacity with the five-time IPL champions, Mumbai Indians.

Meanwhile, Kieron Pollard attracted the eyeballs with his sensational batting in the nets, where he smashed huge sixes, which also gave a nostalgic feeling to the fans.

Even after three years of his IPL retirement, Kieron Pollard is still the second leading run-scorer for Mumbai Indians in the history of IPL. In his 12-year-long illustrious IPL career from 2010 to 2022, Pollard played 211 matches and appeared in 193 innings. In these appearances, he scored 3915 runs, including 57 unbeaten appearances, having an average of 28.78. Pollard also scored 18 half-centuries with the bat in his IPL career.

Speaking of MI’s performance in the ongoing IPL 2025, they are currently struggling in the seventh spot on the table, with only two wins and four defeats in their six games, having only four points to their name. They recently defeated the Delhi Capitals by a narrow 12-run margin in the last game at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
