Mayank Yadav made his IPL debut last year, and went to impress everyone with his speed. The 22-year-old clocked close to 157 KPH during the season and soon became the talk of the cricketing world. Mayank’s best performance came against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, where he picked 3/14 and ended the season with seven scalps.

Lucknow Super Giants are also sweating regarding the fitness of Mohsin Khan and Avesh Khan ahead of the season. Zaheer Khan, the mentor of LSG, said when asked about Mayank Yadav, “As much as we are keen on having him play IPL 2025, we want him 150% fit, not just 100% fit so we'll do everything possible to get him there."

‘Just give your 100 percent’ percent'—Rishabh Pant advises teammates ahead of IPL 2025

Lucknow Super Giants skipper Rishabh Pant addressed his teammates ahead of the start of the new season. LSG’s social media channel posted Pant’s, where the 27-year-old was heard saying, “We want to create a place where people can come and express themselves. It's just a very simple idea. It's easier to say than to do it because it requires a lot of effort from each and every individual.”

Pant, went onto say, “It's not just the management; I think it's because of the players we can create that environment. Because what I've always felt as a player is that if you back your players and give them enough trust, they can form you at any level. I feel there is a lot of experience in the group, and the management has a lot of experience."

The 27-year-old also urged the senior members to help the younger members of the side. “We have a lot of senior players. Nicky P is there, Makram is there, Miller is there. I think a lot more are there. Just keep sharing your experience with the younger guys and let that experience flow in this group. I think that's something we can learn a lot from all the senior guys, and just take it forward one day at a time, just give your 100 percent, keeping the best interest of the team without even thinking that our team will back you or not.”
