'We want to create a place where...' - Rishabh Pant opens up on team atmosphere in LSG ahead of IPL 2025

Lucknow Super Giants' (LSG) newly appointed captain Rishabh Pant is looking forward to the new season with the new team. His positive and team-building mindset is what gets highlighted these days. In a recent video shared by LSG, Pant was heard saying that he would like to make a good space for the players on the team.   

"We want to create a place where people can come and express themselves. It is just a very simple idea. It is easier to say than to do it because it requires a lot of effort from each and every individual. It is not just the management, I think it is because of the players we can create that environment," said Rishabh Pant. 

Pant was the captain of Delhi Capitals (DC) in the previous season of the league. He did well in the tournament but failed to take the team to the playoffs. This season might be different for the player as he is on a new team with a new bunch of players who are very experienced in the sport. The 18th season of the IPL will be full of thrilling games, just like the previous seasons, and it will be interesting to watch them play for two months straight.

LSG's captain, Rishabh Pant, praised his teammates and the management ahead of the start of the tournament. The team has some experienced players like Pooran, Markram, and Miller, who have a lot of cricket in India. This has helped them score runs in the IPL throughout the seasons. 

"I feel there is a lot of experience in the group. I think management has a lot of experience. We have a lot of senior players, Nikky P (Nicholas Pooran) is there, (Aiden) Makram is there, (David) Miller is there. I think a lot more are there. Just keep sharing your experience with the younger guys and let that experience flow in this group. I think that is something we can learn a lot from all the senior guys. And just take it forward one day at a time, just giving your 100 per cent, keeping the best interest of the team without even thinking that our team will back you or not," added Rishabh Pant.
