WATCH: LSG's sensational youngster Ayush Badoni slams three consecutive half-centuries in DPL 2024

The 24-year-old Ayush Badoni has wreaked havoc in the Arun Jaitley Stadium with his back-to-back half-centuries in three matches. He's an exceptional player and showed his calibre in the ongoing Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2024, where he's leading the South Delhi Superstarz. He hit his third half-century against Central Delhi Kings and won the game in style. 

The young batter scored 76 (32), including eight fours and five sixes. He smashed the bowlers left, right, and centre and took his team past the victory line. He's leading from the front and is a huge inspiration for all the players participating in the tournament.

Currently, his team is in the 2nd position with four wins out of five games, which is pretty impressive. Moreover, Badoni himself has scored 320 runs in five games and is the 2nd leading run-scorer in DPL 2024. When he played for LSG, he did pretty well, and now, with the team's responsibility on his shoulders, he's working hard and playing extremely well, which is a good sign. 

South Delhi Superstarz's fourth win in DPL 2024

The South Delhi Superstarz were lucky enough to win the toss and chose to bat first. This decision went in their favour as they scored 124/2 on the board after just 10 overs. It was Badoni who hit his 3rd half-century and helped his team get past the victory line. He's an incredible player and showed a class act during the match.

With that, the Superstarz won their fourth game and are now in the 2nd position on the points table. Badoni's performance might have captured the eyes of the selectors, and he will soon get a call in the upcoming series. Earlier, he scored 56 (20) vs Purani Dilli 6 and 57 (28) against West Delhi Lions.
