History was created in the Delhi Premier League on Friday. Medium pace bowler Prince Yadav became the first ever bowler to take a hat trick in the league the feat was achieved in the match between Purani Dilli 6 and Central Delhi Kings. 

The incident occurred in the 18th over with Central Delhi Kings batting well and en route to a huge score on the board. Prince Yadav first dismissed Keshav Dabas for 5 caught by Sanat Sangwan. The next ball saw Sumit Kumar trapped LBW for a first-ball duck. 

The hat trick came when Haris Dagar also fell LBW to a terrific yorker as the umpire put his finger up. Purani Dilli 6 players were ecstatic as Prince Yadav created history with the ball. 

Central Delhi Kings trounce Purani Dilli by 109 runs 

Batting first, Central Delhi Kings lost young Yash Dhull early for 9. On the other hand, Dhruv Kaushik was aggressive with the bat as he scored 38 runs from just 19 balls with 2 fours and 3 sixes. 

Hiten Dalal batted well to score 23 runs but the star of the show for Central Delhi Kings was skipper Jonty Sidhu. The skipper of Central Delhi Kings side scored 50 runs from a mere 22 balls and his knock included 5 fours and 4 sixes. 

There was more misery for Purani Dilli 6 bowlers as Aryan Rana top scored for his side with an innings of 75. His knock came off 38 balls with 9 fours and 3 sixes and helped his side score 217/7 from their 20 overs. 

In reply, Purani Dilli 6 were never in the hunt as they were bowled out for 108 runs in just 12.1 overs. Money Grewal got rid of opening batters Arpit Rana for a duck and Manjeet for 5. 

Sumit Kumar then dismissed Keshav Dalal and skipper Lalit Yadav for 16 and a duck respectively. Jonty Sidhu struck the biggest blows of the game when he got the key scalps of Sanat Sangwan for 33 and Shivam Sharma for 36. 

The final wicket of the day fell to Jonty Sidhu who dismissed Yug Sharma Gupta for 6. Sumit Kumar was the best bowler as he got 4/22 from his 3 overs while Money Grewal and Jonty Sidhu picked 3 wickets each.
