West Indies star all-rounder Kyle Mayers has proven to be one of the best fielders in cricket history by taking several catches. In the ongoing Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024, Mayers became Superman to dismiss Saint Lucia Kings' skipper Faf du Plessis in the 3rd over of the game. The Kings were chasing a target of 202 runs and were down by two wickets when the skipper played a risky shot over wide mid-on.
Mayers had to run back to take the catch and jumped into the air to get hold of the ball. It was an outstanding and difficult catch, and he deserves all the praise shown on social media. Also, the credit goes to Anrich Nortje for bowling a skiddy, which was a shortish delivery that confused the batter and forced him to play a risky shot.

Saint Lucia Kings were lucky enough to win the game from this position of the game, thanks to Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Tim Seifert, and David Wiese. While Rajapaksa and Seifert scored half-centuries, Wiese contributed 34 runs to the team and also hit the winning boundary. In this match, Kyle Mayers was in a similar position as he won the POTM award for his fantastic batting, magnificent bowling and a mindblowing catch. There was no debate about who could have won the award since Mayers had outplayed everyone in the game's departments.
