The ongoing County Championship Division One 2024 has almost come to an end with two more days left. In the 69th match between Somerset and Hampshire, the game has reached an interesting spot where the scores were levelled at the time of stumps. At the end of day 2, Somerset's score was 60-4, with Tom Kohler-Cadmore and James Rew trying to revive the innings.

Moreover, the reason behind Somerset's condition is the lethal bowler of Hampshire, Kyle Abbott. He has been incredible in both innings and has wreaked havoc on the batters. In the first innings, a weird thing happened with the bowler as he dismissed Kohler-Cadmore in the 53rd over's second ball. After that, the last batter, Shoaib Bashir, walked in.

When Bashir faced the first ball, it went inside and was on the verge of getting dismissed. However, the batter survived because a white towel fell from Abbott's pocket and the umpire declared it a dead-ball. It was a heartbreaking moment for the bowler, but he dismissed the batter after two balls. In the first innings, Abbott claimed four wickets in just 11 overs.
