The 2nd Test match between India and Bangladesh has been interrupted due to constant rain and the first day was called off. However, in a recent development, a news has surfaced over the internet stating that the authorities hired some 'Langurs' during the match to protect the crowd from monkeys. The backstory of this incident is that at Green Park, Kanpur, there are a lot of monkeys who tend to snatch food from visitors.

As per reports, the authorities have kept some langurs all over the ground to protect the crowd and their food. Even though security guards are present on the ground, the presence of the Langurs helps keep the monkeys away from the ground.

"To avoid the terror of monkeys, we have langurs (long-tailed leaf monkeys) to take care of them," said Venue Director Sanjay Kapoor.

Bangladesh scored 107 runs at the loss of three wickets on the first day. Mominul Haque and Mushfiqur Rahim have taken the charge of the team and are playing to form a partnership. There are four more days left and Bangladesh will only have a chance to win the game if they play well in the 1st innings.

Akash Deep shines in 2nd Test match against Bangladesh

India's medium-pacer Akash Deep shines in the 2nd Test match against Bangladesh as he went on to take two wickets on the first day. He gave India their first breakthrough by dismissing Zakir Hasan in the eighth over. After that, he went on to dismiss Shadman Islam, just four overs later.

It was a close call but the bowler was quite confident and convinced skipper Rohit Sharma to take the review as the umpires had given him not-out. After taking the review, Rohit and Virat were shocked on seeing that it was out and were quite happy with the bowler's confidence. Moreover, the current batters will look to build a partnership which will help them in the match.
