Senior India cricketer KL Rahul showcased his adventurous spirit and willingness to experience new things. Rahul was seen taking control of a Boeing 737 flight simulator at Flight 4 Fantasy in Mumbai in association with Red Bull India.
In a video shared by Red Bull India on its Instagram handle, Rahul can be seen saying that he was "excited, nervous and scared" before boarding the flight. Guided by an instructor, the 32-year-old carefully took control of the flight. Reflecting on the lifetime experience, he said he was very scared throughout the ride.
"We went inverted like from the left once and then from the right once. We just went straight and then straight down, so the entire 20 minutes I was just like straight looking anywhere else. That was 100% scary. I thought that I was going to throw up. That little aircraft, that was my blooper moment,” Rahul explained.
“I was enjoying it till I enjoyed it, but then I kept in, so I'm proud of myself,” he added.
After failing to earn a spot in India’s T20 World Cup squad, KL Rahul is all set to return to the national team for the upcoming Sri Lanka series. Team India tour the island nation for a three-match T20I and ODI series starting July 27. Rahul has been included in the ODI squad and is expected to be in the playing XI straightaway.
Ahead of the series, the keeper-batter looked to be sweating it out in the nets. In a video shared by Rahul on social media, he was seen smashing the bowlers out of the park.
