Star RCB spinner Suyash Sharma turned 22 on Friday, May 15, and the team didn’t forget to celebrate his birthday with a special cake-cutting ahead of the RCB vs KKR game in Bengaluru. All of the RCB team members were seen during the birthday celebration of Suyash Sharma.
Besides that, what caught the attention was the presence of the star KKR batter Rinku Singh in the RCB camp during Suyash’s birthday celebration. The RCB spinner can also be seen giving cake to Rinku Singh, followed by the latter wishing him on his 22nd birthday.
The video of Rinku Singh being in the RCB camp for the special birthday celebration of Suyash Sharma also went viral as soon as RCB shared it on their official X handle (formerly Twitter).

RCB showed me a lot of faith – Suyash Sharma
Just a few days back, Suyash Sharma also revealed the role of RCB and the support he got from his franchise in the process of making an IPL comeback. The 22-year-old credited the franchise for helping him in the times when no one else was there.
“RCB sent me to London for my surgery. There, I met James Pipey (RCB Team Physio). He and his family treated me like family. I had three hernias. To be honest, I didn’t expect to play the first match. I was told I would play three or four matches later because it was a big surgery. But Pipey and his family took care of me. I’m very thankful that I’m in this franchise. I’m fit. I had been suffering from pain for the past two years,” said Suyash on RCB Bold Diaries.
“I was used to playing in pain. The problem is that if you’re playing for India or in a franchise, then you can manage. When I wasn’t playing, I had this injury, but didn’t even know it. I went to a physiotherapist, but it was very difficult. RCB showed me a lot of faith. They invested in me. I’m very happy with my surgery. The path I’m on now, I wasn’t on before. Whatever happens, happens for the best,” he added later.
