South Africa outclassed Afghanistan with the bat and continued to assert their dominance with the ball as well. The stellar showing was displayed in the first Group B match of Champions Trophy 2025. Fast bowler Kagiso Rabada was fired up and this was seen with his angry send-off to Ibrahim Zadran.
The incident occurred in fourth ball of the tenth over with Zadran facing Rabada. The batter was beaten for pace and looked back to see his middle-stump flattened on the ground. Just as the batter was making his way back, Rabada turned around angrily and said something to him. Zadran was out after scoring 17 runs from 29 balls with one four and a six.

South Africa batted first after winning the toss and scored 315 on the board. This was Afghanistan’s debut in Champions Trophy tournament.
